Unlike Gilt, One Kings Lane & other Private Shopping sites, you can not hold items in your cart, on Rue La La it is a first come first serve basis, which I personally really like! Things sell fast and to avoid disappointment at check out you will want to pay for items you are certain you want first and then continue shopping. They offer free shipping on all additional orders placed the same day until 10 PM EST, so don't delay if you want something, buy it and then continue shopping!
I also highly recommend that you Save your Account Information! Go to the site, click on My Account and set up your shipping address (must be a physical address, no PO Boxes), billing address, and credit card information. Shopping is fast & easy on Rue La La! Not to knock OKL or Gilt but many times I have tried to buy things and keep getting the "In Other Members Cart" messages while items are tied up for 15 minutes (or longer)and I have to sit at the computer refreshing the page over and over just hoping for a chance at the items I want, I have done this for over an hour only to end up getting the SOLD OUT message after waiting, this will not happen at RLL if you use the shopping tips above!
